HOW WE RESTORE IT

The same care,
every time.

01

Assess

Understand the damage, material and surrounding surface before deciding what the repair requires.

02

Rebuild

Reconstruct missing or damaged material where required, working with the existing surface.

03

Match

Match colour, grain, texture, pattern and finish against the original material.

04

Blend

Integrate the restored area into the surrounding surface so the transition is natural.

05

Refine

Finish and inspect the repair with the goal of a result that feels original, not added.

MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE MATTERS.

MATERIAL DETAIL

Every slab has its own veining.

Natural stone doesn't repeat itself, so a repair has to be matched by eye, not by formula.

Colour, veining and polish all vary across a single slab, let alone between different quarries and ages of stone. We work section by section, matching the repair to the specific piece of stone in front of us and finishing it to the same sheen as its surroundings.

MARBLE & STONE RESTORATION FAQ

Common
questions.

Can chipped marble be rebuilt invisibly?

In most cases the goal is a result that reads as continuous stone, though visibility depends on the stone's pattern, colour and the size of the repair.

Does natural stone need resealing after a repair?

Often, yes — resealing is typically part of finishing a stone repair correctly.

Can you match unique or unusual veining?

We do our best to hand-match veining to the surrounding slab; extremely distinctive veining can be more difficult to match exactly.

THINK IT NEEDS REPLACING?

Send us a photograph first.

A clear photograph of the damage is usually all we need to advise whether it can be restored.
